How to find us

Directions by Car:

Using a Navigation system: Insert “Dycker Feld“. Here you will find parking for the Kunstmuseum Solingen.

 

Degree of latitude: 51.20352

From Solingen Main Station

Take bus 682 direction „Höhscheid-Brockenberg“ up to the stop „Central“, there change to bus 683 direction „Wuppertal-Vohwinkel“ up to the stop „Gräfrath“. From there it is a footpath of about 2 minutes – against the direction oft the bus you came with – until you see the striking clock tower of the art museum.

In case you arrive at Wuppertal you can take the bus 683  from the railway station „Wuppertal-Vohwinkel“ directly up tot he stop „Gräfrath“.

 

 

Opening Hours

Tuesday – Sunday, 10 am – 17 pm, open all year

Closed on Mondays, December 24th-26th, 31st, and New Year’s Day

 

 

Entry

Adults: 6 €

Children (from 0 to 18): free admission

No additional entry cost for exhibitions.

 

 

Public Guided Tours

Every Sunday, at 14:30

Language: German

The public guided tour is included in the normal entrance fee.

 

 

 

Our Shop

Are you looking for a present or a souvernir of your visit?  In our shop you will find a great selection of fine things – from Solingen cutlery , handmade jewellery, fancy accessories to glass pictures and art literature and, of course, catalogues of our current and former exhibitions. Our shop is opended daily from 10 am to 5 pm – exept on Mondays but, instead, on Saturdays and even Sundays.

 

 

Accessibility

The Center for Persecuted Arts is accessible for visitors with limited mobility. Please let the museum shop know your arrival time (+49 212 2 58 14-13), so that access from the side entrance can be made possible.

 

 

Restaurant

Our museum has not got a coffee shop of ist own but in the same building a restaurant called „Junkbrunnen“ invites to a break. Coffee and cake, snacks and various main courses can be enjoyed inside or in the calm and green environment of our garden. The restaurant has got disability access. [More]
